SUSTAINIBILITY
I am not here to green wash you or your client by making big bold claims.
Green graphic design is a journey and it means staying informed with the latest research and continuously evolving. I take this very seriously and use all my efforts to consider all the below categories of sustainability.
MATERIALS
We often assume materials like paper are eco-friendly, but not all paper is sustainably sourced. And what about the inks? Many suppliers still use petroleum based inks, which harm the environment. I carefully consider every aspect of the materials used in your brand to ensure your brand rings true to your values.
LIFE CYCLE
Reduce, reuse, recycle - right? That's the rhyme we all grew up with. Globally, only about 9% of plastic waste is actually recycled. I am a believer in reduce and reuse - and when recycling is the only option - education about the right steps for recycling your particular product are valuable to your client and the planet.
IMPACT
How big is your brands carbon footprint, and what
are some small changes we can make to reduce this?
From low-impact materials, suppliers who share this commitment, and even servers your website is being
stored on are important factors that add up.
